Tim Kneebone emailed me today and alerted me to a Facebook Fan Page dedicated to the Le Monaro.
That’s so cool. Wish I’d thought of it myself…

Here’s an email from Kelvin,
By the Way, he’s the only person in Australia, (in fact, maybe the world) to have an Le Monaro Tattoo. That’s dedication!
Hi Chris its really great to see this site up & running again, during its laps I sent you some photo’s & a story but you may have not got them so when I get time I will resend them to you. I was fortunate enough to win most original HX (including 4 door GTS) at the last Monaro Nats at Ballarat with my original LE & won best Factory Improved with my other LE.
Are you interested in starting an LE register to have as many LE’s & the owners listed as possible, if so I will start collecting as many as I can. I have a lot of mates with LE’s & we have become quite close because we love the same cars.
I also have some info of an old LE register which was around in the mid 80′s but have had no luck in tracking any people who were involved in it.
That’s it for now
Cheers Kelvin Moar

There’s an LE up for auction at Shannons Sydney! Check it out…
Looks good, but the vehicle condition report isn’t too inspiring though!

These le decal stickers look interesting and quite cheap. I’m watching this auction – be interested to see how much they go for!
